**Proactive Cleaners have an exciting position for an experiences Cleaning & Quality Supervisor to join a growing and friendly team based in Slough.**

This position will require you to maximize every opportunity to sell our services to commercial and domestic clients. As a successful sales manager you will have a proven sales track record and expertise in selling commercial products and services. You will be managing existing accounts as well as driving new business sales and attaining new customers. The company offers tailored cleaning services to a variety of industries, including Property management, construction, hospitality and more.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of cleaning staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring their performance to ensure high-quality cleaning standards are met
- Train new cleaning staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and hospital-specific cleaning procedures
- Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure cleanliness, identify any maintenance or repair needs, and address any deficiencies promptly
- Ensure all cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies are properly maintained and in good working condition
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and submit requisitions for replenishment as needed
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures that meet the specific needs of the facility
- Handle and resolve any customer complaints or concerns related to cleaning services, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in facilities and cleaning and implement any necessary changes or improvements to cleaning processes
- Assist with recruitment and selection of cleaning staff as needed

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor or similar role, preferably in a hospital or health care setting
- In-depth knowledge of cleaning techniques, procedures, and equipment, with a focus on infection control and sanitation
- Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to effectively supervise a team and prioritise tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with hospital staff, patients, and visitors
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required rota system
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including team project managing.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
- Clean driving licence
- Must be prepared to work in forensic mental health hospital
- Good with basic software (time & attendance, auditing etc) - full training will be given.

Job role is not limited to the above**

**Experience of working in the cleaning industry will be highly advantageous.**

You will need good sales/admin, diary management experience, basic IT skills, excellent written and communication skills, an ability to work closely with other departments and to be able to work under pressure at times.

**Salary**: £26,500.00-£29,500.00 per year

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
