We are looking to recruit a Autism Wellbeing Advisor to enhance our existing mental health and wellbeing services based in Swindon.

You will work as part of a team to deliver a wide variety of wellbeing support, including specific evidence-based interventions for people with Autism. You will manage your own caseload of people by delivering person-centred support, group and peer support. You will empower the people we support to build independence and confidence to access internal and external support services as and when appropriate _(for Job Description, please visit sgmind.org.uk)_

**Essentials**:

- Experience of working within a mental health service
- Experience of supporting people with Autism
- An understanding of a range of skills, preventions, interventions and management linked to wellbeing and person-centred support
- A sound understanding and knowledge of recovery principles and the role of mental health services across Swindon.
- GCSE/O Levels education (9-4/A*-C) in Maths & English (or equivalent numeracy and literacy).
- Degree or Diploma in an appropriate health and social care field, i.e. psychology - _Desirable._
- An accredited qualification with the appropriate professional body (i.e. Health and Care Professions Council, Nursing & Midwifery Council, Charted Management Institute etc.) - Desirable
