For brides-to-be, the search for their wedding dress should be more than just a shopping trip—it’s an experience. Here at Georgina Scott Bridal, all of our bridal stylist strive to create this everlasting happy memory for our brides and give them the most perfect, luxurious wedding dress experience possible. As one of our stylists you will be a part of creating this unforgettable time for brides and you will be working in our beautiful and tranquil showroom as well as behind the scenes.

As someone joining our team, you will be required to develop a passion for the industry and need to have enthusiasm for our products and for our brides—they are at the heart of everything we do here. Your role will require you to be professional but also have a down-to-earth, friendly, fun attitude with our brides so they can feel comfortable with you.

An outgoing, can-do attitude is a must —brides will be excited and you must mirror this by also showing enthusiasm and excitement for their wedding journey.
- **About the role**_

A bridal stylist’s job isn’t just about helping a bride choose her dream wedding dress it is about continuing the service behind the scenes once the bride has left the store. During bridal appointments, your role will be to greet your bride and make her feel instantly welcomed and at ease with us, you will give them a brief introduction to the layout of our store and our products. You will then carry out the bridal appointment where you will dress the bride, talk her through the dresses she is trying, hold conversations with her and make her feel amazing. You will listen to her needs and wants and take notice of emotional cues. Your key aim is to guide your bride towards finding her dream wedding dress and creating a sale for the store in a un-pressurised manor. Much of the role of a bridal stylist also happens away from appointments, where you will be required to take delivery of stock dresses and prepare them to go onto our shop floor, take delivery of bride’s orders and have the ability to keep on top of paperwork. You will also need to prep brides dresses before their wedding day to ensure they are in pristine condition ready for when the bride collects her gown.

You will be required to use our online diary system so a basic knowledge of computers is essential. You will deal with brides not only in person, but via the phone too, so a professional and friendly telephone manor is essential. As part of our stylist team, this work will be shared out between you all so you will have constant support.

- **About you**_

Experience in a customer interaction based career is essential. You will be spending a lot of time talking to brides and must be able to keep a flow of conversation going. You must understand bridal work is demanding but also highly rewarding. You must be able to lift and carry dresses and be confident in working within a team environment. You must be looking for a long-term placement here. Our dress code is smart casual but you must look presentable at all times. Our shop sells luxury items and we work in a tranquil environment so your presentation must reflect this.
- **Training**_

Whether bridal is where you have come from or it is completely new to you, you will be given full training, where you will be taught all about our products and the way our store runs, as well as shadow one of our experienced stylist so you know what the role entails on a day to day basis and how appointments are run. After training is completed, you will then take the lead of appointments and behind the scenes work while under the supervision of the stylist you were shadowing, so she can help you and guide you if needed.

We are looking for a permanent part-time bridal stylist to work the following:
Every other weekend (Saturday 9am-5.30pm and Sunday 11am-4pm)

Every Thursday evening (12pm to 8pm)
