SEO Executive

**Overview of role**

As an SEO Executive, your role will be to assist your Account Manager/Director in the day-to-day running of the SEO campaigns currently active within your team. You’ll be involved in a variety of tasks, such as reporting, keyword research, competitor analysis and much more, with experts in all areas of SEO available to assist you when required.

The skills required for the role include impeccable attention to detail, excellent timekeeping and organisation, clear communication to both internal and external stakeholders, and a passion for what you do.

A basic understanding of SEO would be ideal, and a tailored training schedule will be provided to ensure you are upskilled in the areas you need it most.

You will be reporting to your SEO Account Manager/Director.

**Measures of success**

**In three months, you would have**:

- Gained solid foundational knowledge around the core pillars of SEO
- Built strong relationships with your SEO and planning teams
- Been introduced to your relevant client stakeholders

**In six months, you would have**:

- Delivered impactful insights and recommendations to your clients with the support of your line manager
- Gained an understanding of how SEO overlaps with other channels and how that affects what you do
- Attended internal sharing sessions and developed further knowledge around SEO strategy as well as digital PR

**In 12 months, you would have**:

- Actively contributed to the success of your clients by delivering amazing and measurable work
- Begun to personally oversee campaigns from top-to-toe with the guidance of your line manager, including strategy and client calls

**Responsibilities of the role**

The role an SEO Executive is fast-paced and varied, with responsibilities such as:

- Pulling together weekly/monthly performance reports with actionable insights
- Attending and contributing to client calls
- Regularly liaising with the planning teams to ensure everyone is in sync
- Supporting your line manager in the day-to-day running of your team’s SEO accounts, delivering tasks such as keyword research, technical SEO healthchecks, content recommendations and much more
- Working with the editorial and digital PR teams to ensure briefs are clear and goals are aligned
- Ensuring you keep up to date with developments in the SEO marketplace through reading trade press
