**Scope of Position**: Bar, Restaurant, Function Rooms, & Course Refreshments

**Location**: High Post Golf Club

**Responsible to**: Bar Supervisor and Front of House Manager

**Wage**:Commensurate with national minimum wage based on age and experience.

**Role Purpose**:
The Clubhouse Assistant plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment for members and guests of High Post Golf Club. Their responsibilities encompass greeting visitors, aiding and providing information, and ensuring the clubhouse adheres to cleanliness and safety standards. Additionally, they may assist with event coordination, food and beverage service, equipment setup/take-down, and overall clubhouse operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Adhere to all safety and security protocols to ensure the well-being of customers and staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness throughout the clubhouse and its amenities.
- Ensure adequate stock levels of supplies are maintained within the clubhouse.
- Take orders for food and beverages, serve patrons, and handle payments efficiently.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and courteously.
- Always maintain the security of the clubhouse premises.
- Monitor the clubhouse environment for potential hazards and address them appropriately.

**Requirements**:

- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
- Previous experience in a similar customer-facing role is preferred.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Capacity to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.

**Duties**:

- Welcome and assist patrons with inquiries in a courteous manner.
- Prepare and serve beverages and light snacks to patrons.
- Serve food ordered through the kitchen.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the clubhouse facilities, including pot-washing.
- Aid in the execution of club events and functions.
- Handle customer interactions with professionalism and respect.

- Ability to assist with food and beverage service as needed.
- Assist with membership inquiries and support membership services as required.

- Experience with cash handling procedures.
- Ability to manage inventory effectively.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

**Salary**: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 30 per week
