Dishwashers & Kitchen Porter

Mercure Letchworth Hall Hotel are recruiting for an enthusiastic Kitchen Porter who is a team player & willing to learn.

Working primarily evening shifts with some early starts occasionally,

you will be responsible for:

- Running the Kitchen wash up area
- Clean and tidy crockery and kitchen equipment
- Ensure the kitchens are kept clean
- Ensure Company standards are met on Food & Hygiene
- Help the chefs with hands on preparation for our restaurant & banqueting events with occasional shifts working the restaurant service
- Handling & storing deliveries

You will report to the Head Chef/ Supervisor on duty

- Previous experience working in a restaurant, hotel, or similar hospitality setting is preferred
- Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Note: This position may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
