Housekeeping Assistant

Our friendly team at Meallmore are looking for a **Bank Housekeeping Assistant** to be part of the team in Grove Care Home. Located only 16 miles from Aberdeen, Grove Care Home enjoys a rural charm in the village of Kemnay. A very homely property, Grove caters predominantly for frail elderly residents as well as those living with dementia.

**Your role as a Meallmore Housekeeping Assistant will include**:

- Perform daily cleaning and sanitisation of resident rooms, common areas, and facilities to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Handle laundry and ensure proper handling of residents' personal items.
- Restock and maintain supplies in resident rooms and common areas.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines to protect the health of our residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents and staff to meet their needs and address any concerns.
- Daily completion of cleaning schedules and documents

**Skills and Requirements**:

- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
