Demolition Labourer

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Demolition Worker to join our team. As a Demolition Worker, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently demolishing structures and preparing sites for construction or renovation projects. This is a physically demanding role that requires knowledge of various construction techniques and the ability to operate a range of tools and equipment.

**Duties**:

- Perform demolition tasks such as breaking down walls, removing flooring, dismantling structures, and clearing debris
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery to complete demolition tasks
- Safely handle hazardous materials and follow proper disposal procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with site preparation, including setting up barriers and securing work areas

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in demolition or construction is preferred
- Proficient in the use of masonry tools, hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery
- Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, roofing, and welding techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Note: This is a paid position. Compensation will be discussed during the interview process.

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 weeks

Pay: £80.00-£100.00 per day
