**Marketing and Communications Manager**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing and Communications Manager to work with a youth charity in Barnet.

The aim of this amazing charity is to help improve the lives of young people in Barnet by giving them somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to. **Position**: Marketing and Communications Manager

**Location**:Barnet

**Salary**: £28,000-£30,000 depending on experience

**Hours**: 40 hours per week (flexibility required, including occasional evenings and weekends)

**About the role**:
Communicating what the youth charity does is critical to their success, and this role will lead on this for three specific audiences: current and prospective donors; the local community; and the press. You will work closely with the Fundraising team to ensurethat collateral is high-quality and donors are regularly hearing about the work of the charity. You will also devise new, innovative digital fundraising strategies.

You will also work with key stakeholders and relevant design agencies to make sure that the overall branding is strong and consistent and any press coverage is positive and on-message. You will oversee the charity’s website and social media accounts.

You will line manage the Communications Officer, who is responsible for comms related to young people and parents.

You will also be responsible for some internal communications work.

**About you**:
To be successful in the role of Marketing and Communications Manager you will be a role model for young people and present a positive “can do” attitude. You will also need to bring with you the following skills and experience:

- Proven Marketing & Communications experience
- Experience of planning and managing income generating campaigns
- Experience of managing digital campaigns
- Experience of using a CRM system for logging and tracking stakeholder activity
- Experience in social media and website management
- Able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
- Knowledge of how to segment audiences and optimise messaging to raise awareness among different stakeholders
