**Salary/Hourly Rate**:Competitive (£11.45+)

**Hours**:Full Time 45-50 per week

**Contract Length**:Seasonal: March to November 2024 (dates can be flexible)

We require an experienced and enthusiastic gardener to maintain the grounds of our award-winning boutiques hotel on the beautiful Island of Bryher, Isles of Scilly.

Everywhere is moments from the beach - A great place to save money, make friends & enjoy the summer before heading off on your next adventure.

**Duties include**:

- Trimming hedges
- Pruning
- Mowing lawns
- Weeding flower beds, borders & paving areas
- All gravel and patio areas to be maintained to a high standard including the swimming pool and pitch and putt
- Assisting the maintenance manager with upkeep around the hotel
- Being on call to shuttle guests between the hotel and quays on the island
- Relevant gardening experience and qualifications
- Able to work on own initiative and enjoys a challenge
- Ability to develop and landscape small areas as required
- Ability to use and maintain petrol mower and strimmer (essential)
- Must have a clean valid drivers license
- Good customer service skills are required as there may be some interaction with guests

Hell Bay Hotel; is on the island of Bryher is an award-winning boutique hotel with 25 suites, a 3 AA Rosette restaurant, Crab Shack, therapy shed, yoga studio and outdoor pool.
Bryher is an incredibly friendly island with 83 permanent residents. This community offers a wonderful shop, pub, cafe, fresh seafood, fresh farm produce and watersports,

Tresco Island Ltd is a family-run business on the Isles of Scilly, 28 miles from the Cornish coast, comprising Tresco Island, and Hell Bay Hotel. Tresco Island comprises timeshare and rental cottages, two restaurants, an inn, a world-famous garden, gallery, leisure spa, shop and a working farm.

**Working & Living Here**:
