XEIAD are a part of the BES Group and are the largest provider of civil infrastructure inspections in the UK.

XEIAD are looking for 6 ambitious individuals to develop full competencies for the examination of structures in accordance with project requirements for our clients.

Specialising in difficult access, our teams have extensive experience inspecting structures such as bridges, culverts, retaining walls, tunnels, and shafts across industry sectors such as Rail, Highways, Marine, Utilities and Defence.

We pride ourselves on supporting the end-to-end management of a range of civil engineering assets, helping asset owners and managers keep critical infrastructure safe, reduce risk and maintenance costs as well as extend asset life.

We are currently engaged in the delivery of numerous projects throughout the UK for and on behalf of many asset owners, managers and a large diversity of engineering consultancies including Network Rail, National Highways, Balfour Beatty, Kier and Atkins to name just a few.

You must be prepared to undertake a comprehensive training scheme, including a structures examination course, mentorship, assessment and other associated training. Experience of working within the UK rail,Highways or construction industries, particularly operating on-site in a live environment would be an advantage.

**Essential Experience, Qualifications & Skills**
- 5 GCSE's Grade A-C, including Maths and English.
- Medically fit (pass pre-employment medical and ongoing medicals, including Drug and Alcohol tests).
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- IT Literate (Microsoft Office)
- Be prepared to learn and implement specialist access techniques such as confined space working, roped access, working on or under water, working at height etc.

**Desirable Experience, Qualifications & Skills**
- Have strong communication and inter-personal skills. You will relate well to colleagues, clients and members of the public at all levels.
- Be a self-starter, able to take responsibility and work with minimum supervision, at times under pressure.
- Have excellent organisational skills; be able to multitask and re-prioritise to meet changing needs and deadlines.
