Bridgeway Consulting Ltd are the only authorised supplier of safety critical training to Network Rail High Speed (NRHS).

NRHS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd responsible for operating, maintaining and renewing the HS1 route on behalf of its client HS1 Ltd. As the only 300kmph railway in the country, NRHS operates to different standards to the rest of Network Rail, with its own safety management systems and safety critical roles. NRHS are developing their Training Centre at their Singlewell Depot where this role will be based.

**Role Overview**:
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Training Instructor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to new recruits and current employees, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to operate safely and efficiently on NRHS infrastructure.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs covering all aspects of NRHS operations and safety protocols.
- Assess the training needs of staff and customise training sessions to meet those needs effectively.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of trainees, providing feedback and additional support as required.
- Stay updated with the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure training content remains current and relevant.
- Collaborate with the NRHS Training Management team to plan and deliver training to maintain staff competence.
- Accurately record completion of training courses and assessment events in a timely manner.
- Support the NRHS Training Management team in awarding and verifying Safety Critical competencies via the Competence Management System.
- Support learning and development of trainees by undertaking on site competence assessments during engineering hours (night work).

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in rail industry operations or maintenance, preferably within a high-speed rail environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire trainees.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

**Desirable**:

- Relevant certifications in NRHS Competences
- Level 3 Qualification in Education & Training (or equivalent).
- Level 3 award in assessing competence in the work environment (or equivalent).
