IT Helpdesk Advisor

**Location**: Peterborough - PE6 8NE

**Salary**:£23,000 - £25,000

**Hours of work**: Monday to Friday - 9.00 - 5.30 Monday to Thursday and 5.00 p.m. finish on a Friday

**Job Title**: IT Help-desk Advisor

Due to internal promotion, we are recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to join our client based in Peterborough.

The role is a permanent position joining the IT Team.

The main duties of the role are as follows:

- Working in a fast-paced IT Support based role
- Providing support to both internal and external clients
- Diagnosing issues
- Liaising with internal departments to resolve issues
- Providing coaching and support to customers
- Attending meetings on a face-to-face basis
- Assisting with networking issues
- Feeding back issues to the development teams
- Running reports

**Essentials**
- Solid experience and knowledge in at least one of the following IT areas: a MS Intune (Managing devices, users, policies and software deployments) Administering SQL Server (Installing SQL, Configuring SQL, backing up SQL databases) Active Directory (ManagingDevices, Users, Group Policies and Software deployments) Experience of installation, configure and troubleshooting of Microsoft Operating systems.
- Basic understanding of networking.
- Knowledge of working with other platforms (ChromeOS, macOS, iOS and Android) beneficial

A passion for IT is essential. A full, clean driving licence will be required as site visits will be required.
