**The role**
- An important role in the agency, the primary function of the Stock Controller is managing the stock of client assets in our possession and ensuring our inventory management system accurately reflects the quantity, location and condition of all items.
- This is a full time role based at our warehouse in Brackley, however there may be a requirement to attend our other offices and also to attend project sites regularly to stay abreast of client expectations, agency standards and operators working lives.
- Ensuring all new assets are onboarded onto our system in a timely and professional manner.
- Using your knowledge of the assets, you will also assist the operations management team in compiling and finalising kit lists for projects, ensuring no omissions and any last-minute changes are communicated to the rest of the team.
- In time, you will be expected to advise on the design and purchase of new kit and ensure that all assets are adequately protected when going out on site, considering best practices in relation to sustainability, helping to reduce the environmental impact of our operations.
- During busier times, you will also assist the warehouse in preparing and loading kit going out on events.
- The management of warehouse and office consumables is also the responsibility of this person, ensuring that sufficient stock of all items is maintained.
- You will also assist in ensuring the facilities of the warehouse and offices are maintained alongside the Head of Operations and Facilities, scheduling checks, repairs and maintenance.
**Skills and approach**
A proactive approach to dealing with matters is essential.
Good oral and written communication skills
High levels of numeracy for stock management
Accuracy and attention to detail
Problem solving abilities and a can-do attitude.
Technical and IT skills, particularly when it comes to inventory management.
**Work Experience**
Experience in the events industry or warehouse environment would be advantageous but not essential.
