**Position**:
We deal with high volumes of prescription medication which are under the strictest regulations of the controlled drug act, and we require all members of staff to be methodical and accurate during all processes they are involved in.

The pharmacy works with paper prescriptions which is a legal requirement for dispensing CBPMs.

To aid the dispensary workflow, we require an administrator to help the pharmacy team to sort, file and retrieve the relevant prescriptions in order to fulfil our patients’ orders in a timely and efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work within a team of administration staff within Curaleaf pharmacy to ensure prescriptions are filed, sorted, and retrieved in a timely manner to aid the dispensing process.
- Raising purchase orders within the pharmacy for stock items from our suppliers.
- Troubleshooting any issues which may cause delays to patient’s receiving their medication.
- Using the Pharmacy’s bespoke PMR system to accept and process prescriptions when they arrive on site.
- Liaising with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to ensure our patients’ prescription journey is smooth and they receive the best possible service.

- Accuracy in their work with great attention to detail
- Ability to follow processes and protocols set out by the company.
- Ability working in a team and with wider members of the company and external stakeholders.
- Confidentiality when dealing with patient data.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Willingness to undertake training to enhance their knowledge around CBPMs.
- Administrative experience of 1 year minimum.
- Experience working in a busy environment and with time-bound deadlines.

Desired experience:

- Familiarity with pharmacy dispensing processes and CBPM products
- 3 years’ experience in an administrative role.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Good numeracy, literacy, and IT skills (passing grades at GCSE level as a minimum)
