**Job Vacancy: Seasonal Gardener**

**Responsibilities**:

- Planting, watering, pruning, and maintaining flowers, shrubs, and trees in assigned garden areas.
- Ensuring the overall health and vitality of plants through regular fertilising, mulching, and pest control.
- Operating and maintaining gardening tools and equipment.
- Assisting with the design and layout of garden beds and landscape features.
- Monitoring and addressing issues such as weeds, diseases, and plant pests.
- Seasonal planting and maintenance of vegetable gardens and herbaceous borders.
- Collaborating with the gardening team to plan and execute special events and displays.
- Maintaining clean and organised work areas.
- Providing excellent customer service by answering questions and engaging with customers.

**Required Work Experience, Skills, or Education**:

- Previous experience in gardening, horticulture, or a related field is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of plants, their care requirements, and common gardening techniques.
- Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of gardening tools and equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of sustainable and organic gardening practices is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent education is required.

It is a **must** that you have a clean drivers license.

**Working Hours**: This is a seasonal position with flexible working hours. Weekend and holiday availability may be required, as gardening often involves peak periods during spring and summer.

Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £11.00-£15.00 per hour
