On behalf of a school in Gateshead, NE11, Vision for Education are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis.

**About the role**:
The appointed KS1 Teaching Assistant will be working within the Year 1 group at school, where some pupils have lower attainment or SEN. The TA will be taking on a range of general support, small group work and Phonics intervention support as part of their role. The phonics screening check takes place in this year group, so some knowledge of phonics is essential. Days and hours for the role would be Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 15:30.

**Requirements**:
To be considered for the role of KS1 Teaching Assistant (Full-time) you will:

- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

- Experience working within a Primary School setting
