Marketing Assistant Responsibilities:

- Plan, organise and execute key events for the company brand. Including but not limited to tradeshows, food trucks, festivals, seasonal activations etc.
- Assist the wider marketing and sales team with marketing activities such as community management and content creation.
- Procure and coordinate staff, contractors, and materials for regional and international events.
- Focusing on the UK and international tradeshows, you will help coordinate all aspects of events from start to finish ensuring they run effectively and smoothly.
- You will also help coordinate all consumer-facing events ranging from food trucks and festivals to seasonal activations and NPD launch events.
- Assist in developing the brand across the food service and retail sectors.
- Oversee and manage events on the ground. You will organise and attend key brand events and tradeshows.
- Monitor several ongoing events and activations progress, ensuring we meet key deadlines, and minimise potential risks and issues.
- Work alongside our external agency partners to ensure event success.
- Encourage and pitch new events, and tradeshows and launch ideas to put Moving Mountains into the public eye.
- Manage and monitor the event budgets and materials. Negotiating fair prices ensuring event cost-effectiveness.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure the brand creative strategy is effectively brought to life through events.
- Monitor online trends and key industry events.

Marketing Assistant Requirements:

- Degree in relevant field e.g. Communication/Marketing/ Events Management
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar events manager role & previous experience in the FMCG sector is a plus.
- Experience in event management/ coordination.
- Outgoing highly organised individual with good initiative and strong work ethic and people skills.
- Highly organised and able to handle the pressure of large-scale events.
- Must use social media and be in tune with current trends and online activity.
- Dynamic and proactive.
- Ability to work independently with agencies, in line with business guidelines, in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to travel to events and shows.
