Our team work on projects from stage sets to brand environments, props to exhibition stands with attention to detail and a high-quality finish at the heart of our ethos.

We are now looking to expand our team with the appointment of an Assistant Buyer. Quite simply we’re after someone whose ambitions match ours.

As Assistant Buyer you will be responsible for:

- Monitoring stock levels, identifying purchasing needs and sourcing materials
- Negotiating the best value pricing and terms, whilst maintaining high-quality standards
- Updating the wider team with any changes to pricing and delivery
- Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing suppliers
- Ensuring supplier accounts and stock files in Sage are kept up-to-date and relevant
- Processing purchase orders and checking against order confirmations
- Providing accurate pricing information to Project Managers to enable correct quoting
- Arranging returns and replacements/credit notes
- Chasing suppliers for delivery updates, quote requests and VAT invoices
- General purchasing administration

- Previous experience in a purchasing role (any industry will be considered).
- Experience with Sage Accounts preferrable but not essential.
- The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Excellent IT, Microsoft Office and data entry skills.
- Highly organised and detail oriented.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to form strong supplier relationships.
- Resilience, flexibility, and a willingness to undertake varied responsibilities.
- A professional, confidential and flexible approach to working with people.

Our standard working hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 5.30pm (office based). This role comes with the following employee benefits:
