**Job Summary**
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Machine Minder to join our team at Agrial Fresh Produce in Wigan. Your main role will be to operate machinery, ensuring maximum efficiency to enable all production targets are met and achieve the required quality standards.

Working hours: Sat - Weds 16:00-00:00.

As well as the 3 factories we also have a farming operation - Agrial Fresh Farms. All UK sites operate under the name of Agrial Fresh Produce Limited and fall under Agrial's vegetable division. The business is more recognisable in the UK by its Florette salad brand and we are now one of the UK’s leading producers in the industry. We have a recipe for success through our EPIC values and working together as one team. Our Wigan site is a well-established business unit that processes and distributes pre-packed, ready to eat, fresh salad bags and bowls to some of the UK's well-known retailers and restaurants. We are based on Martland Park Industrial Estate, which is ideal for travel on the M61, M6 and M62.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Ensure that all site rules and regulations relating to personal hygiene, food safety and statutory health and safety are met at all times.
- To deputise for the Zone Leader
- To be responsible for the day to day running and up keep of all bagging, raytec and drying line machinery within the HC department
- Be responsible for ensuring all machine programs are set to specifications and are used correctly.
- Ensure all machines are working at optimum speed, maintaining first time quality standards whilst optimising overall machine effectiveness by downtime reduction
- To report all faults / breakdowns / issues immediately to the Zone Leader / Zone Manager
- Ensure all maintenance breakdown sheets are accurately completed, detailed causes indicated and actions for improvement logged.

**Skills and Experience Required**
- To have at least 6 months experience as a machine operator
- To have 6 months experience in Food Manufacturing
- To have Basic Food Safety
- To have Team Leading NVQ level 2 (or equivalent)
- To have worked in a refrigerated environment
