**Greenkeeper**

**Abergele Golf Club are looking to recruit a keen and dynamic Greenkeeper.**

Abergele Golf Club is regarded as one of the most picturesque courses in Wales with the magnificent backdrop of Gwrych Castle. The course was established in its present position in 1968 and in 2003 underwent a huge project which involved construction of new greens to USGA standards.

**The Ideal Applicant**:

- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Sports Turf Management
- Must have experience in greenkeeping/Landscaping or Horticulture
- A passion for golf desirable
- Familiar with the use of using and preparing grass machinery
- Reliable and an early riser
- Good standard of spoken and written English
- Smart personal presentation and polite manner
- Team player
- Attention to detail
- Pesticide PA1,2,6
- Full driving license
- Chainsaw qualifications (desirable)
