Ndt Trainer

Join a rapidly growing company who specialise in aerospace, non-destructive testing (NDT). Working directly under one of the biggest names in aerospace, this company provides: all-inclusive study contracts, technical assistance missions and specialised training courses for OEMs, their suppliers, airlines and MROs.

**Duties**
- Prepare and deliver high-quality courses and training material to students.
- Train students and help steer the logistics of training; develop courses and learning materials.
- Liaise with the Training Manager to create yearly planners for classroom, offsite and overseas requirements.
- Invigilate and mark exams, ensuring standards are fulfilled
- Manage training equipment and consumables
- Liaise with potential customers and overseas training partners
- Train and upgrade to Level 3 (EN4179 / ISO9712) if not already held
- Maintain skills and certifications; acquire new (unheld NDT level 2 or 3) ones.

**Experience**:

- **NDT**:Ultrasonic, Eddy Current, Dye Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, and Radiographic Testing (level 2 in at least in 2 of these methods).
- Good knowledge of aircraft structures, components and materials.
- Proven problem-solving techniques and flexibility in training delivery
- Proficient in Google / Microsoft Office tools

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Level 2 NDT (EN4179 / ISO 9712)
- HNC, HND or Foundation Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering (or equivalent.)
- Certified classroom training from an approved training Outside Agency.
- Validated ‘On The Job’ experience (OJT)
- Visual Acuity performance

**Additional**
- OJT: Funded training for additional NDT disciplines - Level 2 (and occasionally 3).
