Magellan is a specialist premium motorcycle tour operator setup and run from the UK, our product range includes Guided and Self Guided tours with more than 200 trips currently on offer.

Our in-house head office team includes decades of motorcycle and travel experience, we are looking for new team members to join us as we continue to grow into new markets and destinations.

**Job description**

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all of our sales contacts, and existing customer queries are replied to promptly and satisfactorily.

You’ll be expected to learn our product inside-out to enable you to explain the benefits of travelling with us, and to provide comprehensive information about our tours. You’ll need to be committed to delivering top-level service in line with our values and reputation as one of the world’s largest premium motorcycle tour operators.

**Main responsibilities**
- Answering incoming telephone calls politely, positively, and knowledgeably.
- Making outgoing calls to customers and potential customers.
- Helping to make the booking process as straightforward as possible for potential customers.
- Ensuring information provided by customers during the booking process is recorded clearly and accurately in our systems.
- Attending industry events as required (e.g. trade shows, open days etc).

**Person Specification**
- A passion for and understanding of motorcycling and travel in general, and motorcycle touring specifically are a prerequisite.
- Excellent communication skills are absolutely essential in this role.
- A cheerful attitude is also essential to ensure all customer interactions result in a positive conclusion.
- Previous experience in a customer facing role would be beneficial.
- Experience traveling abroad by motorcycle would be preferred.

We are ideally looking for a Hybrid worker close to our HQ near Nottingham.
