We are looking for an experienced Bid Writer to join our dynamic, not-for-profit organisation to help develop and shape the future of EMBS as we continue to grow. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join EMBS and work with our Oxford and Banbury based teams, all of who are committed to improving the lives and outcomes of young people and adults within the local community.
**Main purpose of the role**
- As a Bid Writer, you will be responsible for producing, reviewing and completing high quality bids, demonstrating the organisation’s expertise in the industry (education, youth and employability sectors)
- Researching and identifying suitable funding opportunities, ensuring we meet the eligibility criteria (bids or grants from £5000 - £1 million+)
- Delivering completed, high-quality bids within the agreed deadlines
- Responsible for re-writing and re-working existing pre-written content where relevant
- Establish high quality partnerships that deliver effective services and build positive relationships
- Be a key point of contact within the Business Development team for internal and external stakeholders; ensuring managers are fully briefed on contractual commitments, KPIs, resourcing requirements, organisational roles and responsibilities
- A talent and proven track record of writing clear, concise, compelling bid content (within the further education, adult/6thform education, refugee youth work or employability sectors), articulating your company’s values, experience and delivery approach while ensuring compliance with all content requirements and guidelines
- A proven track record of identifying suitable funding opportunities and winning bids/grants varying between £5000 - £1 million+
- You are comfortable working on multiple written proposals simultaneously
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Demonstrable experience in managing relationships with external partners/stakeholders to deliver effective bid/funding proposals
- Being a self-starter and demonstrate the ability to use own initiative whilst working effectively as part of a team
Successful project management experience
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
**Salary**: £32,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
