Heating Installer

We are looking for a qualified Heating Engineer to join our gas/installation team, based in the Craven Arms/ Ludlow area of Shropshire. If you are qualified with ACS or equivalent and currently working in the installing area of the industry, then we would like to hear from you

Your main role will include:

- Carrying out boiler replacements, boiler conversions and full central heating installations within our properties at Connexus.

Additional to the main role, you will when required carry out:

- Installation and maintenance of unvented hot water system
- Gas boiler servicing and repairs, diagnosing faults and repairing on different types of heating systems. Renewables servicing and repairs.
- Completing general plumbing responsive repairs.
- Surveying of upcoming installation works.
- Installation of full bathroom suites

The majority of the work will be based in the Ludlow and Craven arms area, however there may be occasions you will need to be working in North Shropshire and Herefordshire.

There will be a requirement for you to participate in the out of hour's on-call rota for which a standby supplement is paid, plus an hourly rate for each call out attended. This is in addition to the basic salary and is dependent on how many times you are on the rota for call out.
