**The role**

As a Team Leader within the Settlements team, you will be responsible for ensuring the team complete workload in a timely manner and are supported in their ongoing development. Your role will involve varied tasks including ensuring allocating and overseeing workload, developing internal processes, and working closely with your team to ensure their own targets are achieved and their development is continued.

**Responsibilities**
- Organising workloads and supporting team in ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Identify skills gaps and deliver appropriate training per individual needs.
- Continuously developing processes to ensure team is working efficiently.
- Develop strong relationships with our partners and agents to ensure timely and accurate metering and consumption data.
- Monitoring SLAs.
- Working with other departments on strategic projects.
- Supporting team members; conducting 1:1s, monitoring workload, providing training and acting as escalation point.
- Act as an initiator and champion of best practice and continuous improvement within your team.
- Testing and development of processes in line with industry and system changes.

**About You**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to build relationships and positively influence others;
- Proactive approach to problem solving, idea creation and suggesting/driving change;
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment and able to quickly respond to changing business needs and demands;
- A leader who is invested in the development of others;
- Able to prioritise and manage your own workload with mínimal supervision.
- Initiative to take on duties or tasks to further your learning and improve business process;
- Proven track record of leading and mentoring a team.
- Previous experience working within an Operations focused position in the energy industry.
- Strong expertise of at least one of the following areas; electricity metering, industry data flows, or electricity settlements.
- Excellent communicator and can build relationships and influence external parties and internal departments.
- Confident using MS Excel.
