Parts Trainee

We have an opportunity to join the CLAAS EASTERN team as a Parts Trainee, working at our site in Sinderby.

**Main Duties**:

- Picking and packing parts and ensuring their prompt dispatch to our customers.
- Receiving telephone and face-to-face parts sales enquiries, supporting customers and workshop staff with parts identification.
- Customer liaison and support
- Assisting with the unloading of deliveries.
- Stock taking duties.
- Using a computerised stock control system.
- Other general duties to ensure smooth operation (housekeeping).

**Essential Skills and Knowledge**

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

- Excellent customer service skills and a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Ability to work to deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently, as necessary.
- Willingness to work unsociable hours as and when required.
- Knowledge of working within a busy parts department would be preferable.
- Understanding of agricultural machinery would be beneficial
- Retail experience would be an advantage.

**Hours of Work**

Working hours are 37.5 per week with regular overtime. During peak seasonal periods you must be prepared to work on a rota that will include evenings and weekend work.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £15,000.00-£17,000.00 per year
