Akkodis is currently recruiting for a Tester to join our client on a 6 month initial contract, working on some exciting digital products and services, that will shape their future over the next few years

Role: Tester

Duration: 6 Months

Rate: £589 per day

Status: Inside IR35

Location: Taunton / Remote

Fundamental Tasks
- Design, create and run automated tests
- Perform manual testing
- Plan and control system testing and user acceptance testing
- Champion quality across the team
- Adapt and learn new technologies as required (e.g. geospatial systems).

Essentials
- Python
- Test Automation
- API testing
- Load testing

Desirables
- TypeScript-based web front-end testing framework, e.g. Playwright or Cypress
- Azure DevOps
- Geospatial technologies
- Automated unit testing in Python
- Test management experience: planning and executing UAT.
