**Key Tasks**:

- Accurate and timely processing of invoices via a two-way matching system
- Auditing invoices via reconciling delivery notes
- Proactive query management and resolution for supplier accounts
- Communicating with relevant suppliers to process invoicing or payment queries
- Ensuring that all accounts payable activities comply with relevant financial policies and procedures
- Ensuring accuracy and self-checking of work
- Supplier reconciliation and resolution
- Support to colleagues ensuring the department is working as a team to have all accounts up to date and accurate
- Working to monthly deadlines set within procedures

**Person Specification**:
**Qualifications**:

- Good general standard to GCSE level

Desirable: A Levels (3 grade A-C) AAT (Level 2 - 4)

**Skills**:

- Good understanding of Excel and computer literate.
- High Level of accuracy.
- Intermediate mathematical ability.
- The ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and creditors
- The ability to work well in a team and collaborate with others

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
