**PE Global is currently recruiting for a Utilities Operator for our leading multi-national client based in Speke, UK.**

**Position Description**:
The Utilities team have responsibility for generating and supplying the site with primary utilities (e.g. Steam, electricity, water, air and nitrogen) via site-wide distribution systems.

The Operations Technician - Utilities is a member of the Utilities Team, responsible for the safe and cGMP compliant routine monitoring, sampling, recording, operation and control of the Centralised Utilities Systems to ensure 100% service and supply toall internal customer user teams 24hours per day, 365 days per year. Standard shift pattern is two 12 hour days followed by two 12 hour nights with six days off in between. There will be a number of debit hours owed dependent on shift pattern timings.

Operational responsibility for Purified Water generation systems including satellite systems supplying various user teams

Operational responsibility for the Machine house facility including compressed air generation, Glycol chilling & Chilled Water generation

**Functions, Duties, Tasks**:
**Operations**: Complying with cGMP requirements by following SOPs and accurate documenting activities. Carry out specified testing to track and improve utilities performance and quality. Ensuring water sample schedules are adhered to.

**Problem Solving**: Use diagnostic and experience skills to identify equipment and process problems and identify modes of failure and/or deviations and/or root causes

**Documentation**: Complete records e.g. Operation Monitoring logs, raising requisitions, GMARs work orders, following cGMP guidelines

**Improvement projects**: Assisting installation and upgrading of plant equipment & the development & improvement of operating procedures & risk assessments.

**EHS**: Operate equipment and processes in accordance with safe working practices. Report EHS incidents and participate in root cause investigations and identification of countermeasures to prevent recurrence.

**Training**: Own Learning Plan, share specialist skills and information gained through experience.

Constantly participates in the Performance Management processes with regard to the setting of objectives and the development and the implementation of a personal development plan.
