About The RoleAs we continued to expand during this exciting time within the Telecom Industry, a rare opportunity has arisen at Morrison Telecom Services, and we are now looking for a Field Based Supervisor with** FTTP/Cooper** installation experience based at our Crawley office. The role will be predominantly based within East Sussex region.

As the Field Base Supervisor, you will be responsible coordinating the performance and development of your team whilst ensuring a ‘First Class Service’ delivery is maintained. They will also ensure that a quality service is always delivered and assist in raising the profile of the business. The department also provide day-to-day support to Project Managers, Site Agents including Development and Training where necessary.

You will be expected to perform technical tasks, such as troubleshooting technical issues, and perform administrative tasks which includes managing team performance as you will be the key focal point for your team by providing them assistance and advice.

Morrison Telecom Services operates in the fixed line telecommunications market offering a full life cycle of survey, design, build and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure. We continue to support Openreach with their implementation of a full fibre network through large scale roll outs of network build and maintenance activities. This role primarily focusses on Fibre to the Premise (FTTP) solutions.

You'll be working in a part of Morrison Telecom Services that is dedicated to transforming the way support is delivered nationwide to network providers. We aim to be the UK's leading network installation business, harnessing and enhancing the skills of our people to deliver high-quality cost-effective services.

**What will you be doing?**

This role fits within Morrison Telecom Services Project Falcon Team and will work collaboratively with the Commercial, R100, Rural Build, Delivery Teams

Morrison Telecom Services operates as a Telecommunication Infrastructure Services Company and is part of the Telecom Division of M Group Services. Morrison Telecom Services works with operators across the UK and Ireland, building and maintaining fixed telecom networks.

**What will your key responsibilities be?**
- Co-ordinate resources to ensure delivery of required daily productivity.
- Support SHEQ in toolbox talks, QA memos, liaise with MTS Quality auditors
- Responsible to ensure van audits, onsite audits.
- Monitor the quality performance of works and adherence to Customer Specifications.
- Subject matter expert for any onsite technical issues.
- Supervision of onsite engineering teams to avoid FPNs
- Coordinate all Highway activities with local authorities and back-office staff ensuring appropriate Notices and traffic management are in place.
- LMTP Quality audit of PONs to the correct standard as specified by the client
- Covering of occasional weekend works

**What competencies are we looking for?**
- Hold a valid NRSWA full Supervisor Street works card
- Smart award accreditations NOPS
- Relevant accreditations required (PIA Desirable)
- Must hold a full UK driving license for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on your license
- M23 Accreditation
- Risk assessment and hazard identification and a strong focus on Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental practices: Roads and Street Works Act 1991, Construction Design Management Regulations and Section 74 Regulations.
- Have experience of working and building relationships with Local Authorities
- Telecommunication Knowledge especially in underground Civils and Cabling
