**Trainer - PMVA/PST**
**Salary - £28,407 - £33000 pa**
**Full Time role - 37.5 hours a week (plus occasional weekend work and travel)**
We are looking for an individual who should be confident and professional when delivering training to large groups of individuals and be innovative to ensure the training delivery is always engaging.
As part of a dedicated and committed team you will be involved in the delivery of frontline training to ensure that the quality is to the highest standards and integrity, ensuring successful outcomes are achieved.
**What does the trainer role entail?**
You will be responsible for the delivery of numerous training programmes including Personal Safety Training, PMVA related training, Safer Handling Soft Restraints Kit training and First aid training. Taking the lead on projects to be developed using the appropriate training programmes and materials.
**Other duties will include, but not be limited to -**
- To be responsible for the design and delivery of training materials and documentation
- To be responsible for the delivery of Personal Safety Training to include PMVA/PI skills, First Aid training
- To support and contribute to the development of systems and structures which promote fairness and therefore help in the retention and progression of individual staff
**What will I need for the trainer role?**
The role requires applicants who can demonstrate (with evidence) skills in the following areas:
- Possess a PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector), Award in Education and Training, or equivalent Level 3 training qualification, and work towards completion of Level 4 Learning & Development Qualification
- Ability to deliver current GSA accredited NHS PMVA training
- Ability to deliver First Aid Training
- Proven experience of working in a PMVA training role, including experience of training design and delivery, briefing and presentation trainer skills
- Thorough knowledge of Data Protection
- Evidence of training and development skills
- Understanding the risk assessment process
- Proven and recent history of working within an NHS Trust PMVA team training and development role or similar
- **The ability to travel is required. Possession of a full clean driving license is essential for the role**

- College of Policing PST Trainer
- Home Office HMPPS C&R Trainer
- First Aid at work qualification
**Occasional Weekend Working is a requirement.**
