TQR are looking for a Control Systems / Electrical Engineer to join a great business in the Willand Devon area.

**What will you be doing?**

We are looking to recruit and Control Systems / Electrical Engineer to join our team and help meet the growing demand for both our equipment supply and maintenance services.

**What will you need to do this role?**

Carrying out electrical and control system engineering work including installation, modification or upgrading of electrical and control systems. To include new build, planned and unplanned maintenance, fault finding and repair work on all electrical, controland instrumentation assets.
- Assist with PLC / HMI and SCADA software modifications as required on a variety of different hardware platforms (mostly B&R Automation Studio / Citect SCADA).
- To be prepared to travel for work purposes and carry out installation, service and repair work on customer's premises within the UK.
- To be prepared to work outside of normal working hours as and when required.
- Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting.
- Support our continuous development approach to R&D & programming improvements.
- Liaise with engineers and directors to ensure system requirements are met.

**What are we looking for?**
- Hands on maintenance or build experience with relevant related C&I systems - PLC, SCADA, instrumentation (pressure, level, flow, temperature etc).
- A high level of working knowledge of the dangers of working with low to medium voltage electrical supply systems, both AC and DC.
- Good communication skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Energetic, self-motivated and a problem-solver
- Team player
- Organisational and time-management skills
- Full driving licence
