We have an exciting opportunity for a **Fleet Coordinator** to join our team at our headquarters in **Newton Abbot. **This is a key role in our business and is focused on the coordination of all activities relating to our company vehicles including the leasing and off-hiring of vehicles, maintenance, fuel cards, PCNS, and other motoring infringements, and ensuring cost efficiencies, safety, and compliance measures are met. **About the role**:
With a workforce that is predominately field based, as our **Fleet Coordinator**, some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- To ensure vehicle check reports are completed by engineers; monitoring, reporting and arranging repairs of any defects
- To monitor, report and schedule MOTs, services and other vehicle maintenance requirements with 3rd party providers
- Onboarding and offboarding of our fleet - both LCV (light commercial vehicles) and company cars to include vehicle cleaning and valeting, damage repairs
- Maintenance and upkeep of the Motor Insurance Database (MID)
- Fleet supply chain relationship management
- Ownership of accident management and driver training programmes
- Overseeing van onboard stock and assets, including livery, racking and tracking systems
- Substantial budget responsibility
- Management reporting and monitoring of fuel spend, accidents, PCNs, driver behaviour, vehicle mileage etc
- Provide regular communications and updates regarding transport/vehicle-related points of interest
- Experience working in fleet management or logistics preferred
- A good understanding of fleet management requirements and dynamics preferred
- Experience in customer/supplier relationship management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong administrative background with a good knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to influence and take a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability and passion to achieve results
- Analytical with excellent planning and organisational skills
- Flexible approach to work and travel

Hours of work: Monday - Friday; 40 hours/week; 08:30 - 17:00 with the flexibility to start and finish outside these hours when required
