Job Introduction

An opportunity has arisen to join the team at Landmarc Support Services at Warcop Camp in Appleby in Westmorland.

As the Site Operative you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and cleaning on the Training Estate, you will be part of small but dedicated team that takes enormous pride in what they do.

The role is being offered on a 24 month Fixed Term contract. You will be required to work flexibly over the course of a 37 hour working week. You will be required to work some weekends, this is reflected in our Variable Days Allowance.

Main Responsibilities

To ensure that the Training Estate Facilities are fit for purpose

General building maintenance

Housekeeping

Grounds maintenance

Stock management & waste services

Complete all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper based systems

Carry out any other additional requirements as needed

Knowledge of Health & Safety

Excellent communication skills

Ability to complete documentation

Basic IT skills

Hold a valid UK drivers licence

Landmarc provides the support services that enable Armed Forces from around the world to prepare for frontline military operations across the UK Defence Training Estate (DTE). This includes maintaining and delivering safe and sustainable infrastructure, managing and operating training areas and ranges and delivering multi-million pound projects to improve vital training assets.
