**Quantexa Tech Lead**

**Service Line Information**:
In KPMG's Digital Lighthouse Advanced Analytics Consulting practice, we don't limit ourselves to either strategy or implementation. Instead, we deliver both - equally well. **The Team**
Our Digital Lighthouse Advanced Analytics team is a specific area of focus and growth for KPMG. Structurally, we sit in the Technology practice of our Digital Lighthouse Consulting division and are aligned to the Corporates coverage group. We provide strategic, organisational and technical advisory work for our clients that allows them to exploit their information and maximise value from data assets. Given the significant demand in the marketplace for analytics we are looking to hire multiple individuals with expertise in at least one of the following areas: Data & Information Management, Information Exploitation or Advanced FS Analytics.

**The Role**
- Be part of the core team working across multiple pods/use cases.
- Be managing/running workshops with stakeholders to elicit requirements on the specific use cases.
- Have ownership of the backlog and facilitate backlog grooming sessions.
- Collaborate with developers, testers and stakeholders. Be part of the design process.
- Have the ability to create artifacts to communicate design to both stakeholders and build team.
- Be Quantexa technical certified.
- Have done full lifecycle implementation of Quantexa.
- Have considerable FS domain experience.
- Have very good knowledge on the Big data stack of technologies.
- Have very good design/data modelling experience.

**Skills and experience required**:

- 5-6 years experience in Big data stack of technologies - Scala, Spark, Hadoop, Elastic Search.
- Quantexa technical certified and should have been involved in full SDLC lifecycle (up until production).
- Ability to perform code reviews and act as a bridge between Technical team and client stakeholders.
- Ability to create technical design artifacts to communicate use case to development team.
- Degree/masters qualification in IT.
- Building and developing long term relationships with stakeholders across our client organisations.
- Educating / training various business and client team to establish and develop a baseline capability in relation to data analytics tools, techniques and procedures
- Good understanding of Cloud platforms including AWS, Azure and Google.
