We are looking for a passionate and dedicated sessional worker to provide ad-hoc cover in the absence of permanent staff in the North Lanarkshire service.

The sessional role will include; working as part of a team, providing quality support to individuals affected by drug and alcohol use, and undertaking a range of interventions such as referrals, assessments, 1:1 support and facilitation of groups and activities.

Person Specification:

- Personal experience or sound understanding of the issues faced by people affected by drug and/or alcohol use
- Ability to maintain enthusiasm and empathy for daily contact with people experiencing a range of issues and a non-judgemental attitude
- Understanding of the importance of maintaining professional boundaries and of the importance of confidentiality and discretion
- IT competent - Use of systems
- Group facilitation skills/experience
