Role Description
We are looking for 2 CI Manager's to join the OPEX team at our Dean Way site in Southall.
You will work with the OPEX Coordinator to ensure the projects they are supporting are finished on time, correctly, and within the allotted budget, by overseeing the day-to-day progression of the projects and keep an eye on its administrative tasks. Drive valuethrough the implementation, maturity and sustainability of the site OPEX model.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure the Implementation and the sustainability of the site OPEX Model happens on the shop floor.
- Support, coach and challenge all levels on site to drive a continuous improvement/excellence mindset with every Team Member on site.
- Support site function leads to align their function maturity development in line with the OPEX standards.
- Conduct site maturity assessments to identify gaps against Leadership, People, Excellent Results, Standard Work & Problem Solving to enable continuous improvement of the site.
- Support the delivery of a site culture development plan in line with OPEX Principles and Business Values.
- Work in partnership with peers and ensure superiors are challenged in the right way.
- Be a 'People Person' with the ability to engage at all levels and a desire to help people become the best they can be.
- Proactively work with the site team members to use the right OPEX tools, to close gaps and improve processes and results.
- Ensure the site Standard Work is in place and being used to ensure Gap Down is not a risk on site.
Skills and Experience
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Experience in Lean Manufacture / Continuous Improvement preferred but not essential
- Previous experience in a FMCG Industry essential
- Dynamic, focussed and relentless attitude to improving systems of work
- Ability to handle conflict in a positive manner, resilient and calm under pressure
- Drives ownership and accountability to the lowest possible level of the site
- Humble with a high degree of Emotional Intelligence
