Merton College are seeking a Lecturer in Business to deliver outstanding quality teaching, learning, assessment and tutorial support to students, to maximise achievement and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in supporting the development of the curriculum, with employer engagement, and learner skill development central.

We’re looking for someone who holds a teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) and who has recent experience teaching Business Levels 1-3, in an FE College or School. You’ll have a successful record of tutoring and supporting learners and be able to set and implement target setting, monitor and review progress.

We also ask that you have strong working knowledge of current BTEC Business framework for teaching, learning, assessment, and quality assurance, as well as strong evidence of effective employer engagement in curriculum design and delivery. You’ll be comfortable working under pressure and to strict validating body deadlines and be committed to establishing and maintaining good working relations with colleagues and students.
