Reports to: Level Up Programme Manager

Job purpose:MYTIME Young Carers is fighting to level the playing field for young carers. Young carers have been hidden in society for too long, with the vast majority juggling a huge amount of responsibility unsupported. At MYTIME, we recognise and celebrate the incredible young people who do so much to support those that they care for. We believe that young carers should have access to the support, the friendships, and the opportunities every child deserves.

We’re an incredibly close-knit team so culture fit is everything for us The Level Up Programme Co-ordinator will be responsible for the development and delivery of our trail blazing school support programme. This role will ensure that all those working in education have the knowledge, resources and support they need to provide young carers with everything they need to thrive. This role will involve developing and maintaining outstanding relationships with schools across the UK. MYTIME operates a flexible, office-first hybrid working policy. Within the first six months, this is managed by an employee’s line manager with a view to increasing flexibility as competency and confidence in the role increases.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop strong relationships with professionals working in education, creating lasting and rewarding partnerships
- Develop and lead the delivery of the MYTIME Young Carers Level Up Programme in individual schools and Multi Academy Trusts
- Deliver high quality CPD to professionals working within education
- this will include senior management, teaching staff, pastoral staff, support staff and governors. Confident to deliver both online and in person.
- Deliver assemblies to school students
- both primary and secondary age students
- Provide one to one support for Young Carer Champions in schools
- Supporting schools to develop a Young Carers Policy
- Maintain the MYTIME CRM system
- updating this regularly to monitor and track the impacts of the programme
- Collect and analyse data and produce impact reports when requested
- Develop new resources for the MYTIME Level Up Programme allowing it to continuously evolve to support the needs of young carers
- Plan and deliver PSCHE lessons on young carers aged between 5 and 18
- Assist Young Carer Champions with providing support for specific young carer needs
- Delivering young carer groups within schools for both primary and secondary aged children
- Liaising with external organisations when required
- Provide support for young carers and Young Carer Champions to provide support and advice around the local authority provision
- Clearly communicate with schools on a regular basis

General responsibilities:

- Contribute to the overall ethos / work aims of MYTIME
- Create a warm and positive impression of the charity when interacting with all our supporters, partners, and young carers
- Help to foster and enhance strong links with organisations which will develop opportunities for MYTIME
- Participate in training and other learning activities as required, undertaking training as required to support the functions of the post and to enhance personal development
- Undertake any other reasonable duties when requested by the Chief Executive Officer or the trustees

Safeguarding:

- Undertake regular safeguarding training as required
- To promote the safeguarding of young people

Qualifications required:
Essential: GCSE English and Maths (grades A to C or 6,5,4).

Desirable: Qualified Teacher Status

Requirements: Job requires a full driving licence and travel across Dorset

Experience required:
Experience within the Charity or Education Sector.

Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office i.e. Word and Excel, and online delivery platforms

Experience of using CRM or similar database software.

**Salary**: £29,400 per annum
