Due to continued growth, Richford Motors are recruiting a full-time Master Controller to join our busy control team. Based in our Alfreton head office, you will report directly to the Operations Manager, whilst leading and supporting the wider control room team. The role will cover days and nights on 12hr shifts, working 4 shifts on 4 shifts off. This is a supervisory role and will include first line supervisory duties.

Your role will include, but won’t be limited to, the following:
Take incoming calls from work provers including all the major car clubs, various police forces, drivers as well as other areas of the business, you will be expected to manage those in a professional manner.

Accurately record information as the first point of contact and prompt customers to ensure that essential information is obtained for efficient and safe roadside assistance and recovery.

To be responsible allocating and dispatching of appropriate resources to jobs promptly and efficiently.

To lead your team effectively ensuring they liaise with customers throughout their breakdown experience, for example, notifying customers of ETAs, delays and completion details.

Maintain a good knowledge and understanding of customer contracts and requirements to ensure SLAs are met.

This is a varied role in a fast-paced team therefore the following skills and attributes are required:
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent geographical knowledge of the UK

Demonstrate professionalism whilst working under pressure.

Be able to multi-task across various systems, including RMS Apex Networks, tracking systems & telephone systems.

Experience in a similar role preferred, however is not essential.

What you’ll receive in return

This role will primarily cover 0700-1900 and/or 1900-0700 on a 4 on 4 off pattern, there may be a requirement to work extra shifts to help cover for holidays and sickness.

Pay: £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 48 per week
