**Technical Cyber Data Business Analyst (Asset Management)**
**Utilities**
**Remote working / maybe 1 day per month in Warwick if needed**

**£500 - £550 per day**

**In short**: Cyber Business Analyst with solid data analysis skills required to join an international energy supplier. You will be analysing metrics of Asset Management-related data so being comfortable with your head in vast amounts of dataneeds to be your 'thing'.

**You will**: Support the cyber programme backups project activities to ensure the successful delivery of backups across the UK business' in scope operation sites. Analytical activities to include technical data analysis, Key Risk and Key Performancemetrics crucial to data management and regulatory reporting objectives.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Liaise with different sources of complex technical data to understand their meaning and co-relationship
- Assist with identifying relevant data trends
- Provide data analysis and insight to improve decision making and to enable process improvements
- Develop and implement processes and procedures
- Analyse and translate business needs into technical specifications and requirements.
- Understanding of complex business and technical requirements
- Technical analysis and design for temporary and permanent interfaces to existing engineering asset solutions and vulnerability solutions
- Understanding of asset, database management systems and programming tools to support advanced data analytics and performance tuning.
- Effective management of business-critical situations and the ability to effectively influence and manage challenging situations.
- Directly support stakeholder satisfaction levels by responding to stakeholder queries and complaints effectively and in a timely manner, escalating when necessary and ensuring that corrective action is taken by the delivery units and wider project team.
- Develop and maintain formal reporting approach for the selected delivery units, this should include adherence to defined quality measures and customer experience metrics.
- Working with functional and technical teams across UK, Cyber and Control Systems team, Business Systems, Delivery Units, Operations, Information Technology and Security to optimise data management information.

**Knowledge & Experience**:

- Experience of Asset Management projects, with emphasis on data quality and auditability.
- Specific experience within either utilities, cyber, engineering or Gas Transmission a positive.
- A confident and decisive communication approach, someone who works well under pressure and can deliver accurate and timely information.
- Business acumen and problem-solving aptitude combined with people management with good interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to identify and resolve issues relating to services, systems, software, and change.
- Ability to work within a variety of delivery frameworks like waterfall and agile.
