**Desford (hybrid working considered 2-3 days on-site)**

**Salary £37,300 - £45,000 (depending on experience) & excellent benefits**

As a HR Advisor you will engage with operational leaders to proactively support their people agenda, working as part of a team, who pride themselves on creating a supportive and collaborative culture. Reporting into the UK HR Manager for operations and supplychain, you will also contribute to wider HR initiatives and projects.

**Job responsibilities & duties of the HR Advisor**
- Partner with operational leaders to proactively support their people management agenda
- Coach managers though basic conflict situations, including executing and documenting complex employee relations case management
- Serve as an advisor to managers, supervisors, and employees to enable leaders to execute people processes
- Coach and upskill leaders on People Management processes and policies with a focus on leader led resolution
- Develop and utilize HR knowledge to execute workforce plans, staffing and talent management processes, integrating talent data and analytics to support the business
- Provide support and guidance to business specific process activities
- Partner with Shared Services teams and Centres of Excellence as necessary to learn / execute people initiatives and ensure employees receive effective HR support
- Support activities through data analytics and providing proactive analysis of organizational opportunities (for examples trends in Occupational Health cases, absence issues, employee relations cases)
- Support and engage in employee and labour relations initiatives, working with team members and leaders to proactively create, monitor and maintain healthy working environments
- Support aspects of new employee onboarding
- Identify opportunities for Lean principles and automation of processes
- Support organizational performance and development initiatives, such as performance management process
- Provide comprehensive operational HR support and solutions to our business in line with our company values, company policies and legal requirements
- Reinforce leadership attributes and company values

**Skills and Experience required of the HR Advisor**
- HR qualification at degree level or have equivalent relevant HR generalist experience at a similar level
- Employee relations experience
- Experience of coaching, guiding, and upskilling first line leaders
- Previous experience of providing guidance and direction at leadership level on HR legislation
- Excellent communication skills and experience of building collaborative relationships
- Be able to influence leaders and confidently facilitate/present
- Be resilient and comfortable with transparency, ambiguity, and change
