Our client is currently looking to recruit a competent Health & Safety Advisor to aid in the development, implementation, promotion, review and monitoring of their Health and Safety Management System, associated policies and procedures.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- To provide a competent, pragmatic, professional health and safety advisory and support service to services and monitor compliance through audits and inspections.
- To aid in the development, implementation, promotion, review and monitoring of the Health and Safety Management System, associated policies and procedures
- Provide relevant assistance and guidance to managers to ensure that contractors are suitably procured, monitored and evaluated.
- To assist managers to investigate all relevant accidents/dangerous occurrences, as well as where appropriate undertaking more detailed investigations.
- Provide advice and guidance to control all high-risk activities, e.g. asbestos, legionella, confined spaces, hot works, working at height

**Skills/Qualifications**:

- NEBOSH General Certificate in H&S
- NEBOSH H&S Diploma or equivalent (desired)
- NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate (desired).
- IOSH membership of at least Tech IOSH level
- Proficient in the development and use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents.
- Experience of running in-house training sessions
- Knowledge of construction related health and safety standards.
- Good understanding of the legal and best practice framework for the management of fire and asbestos in both commercial and domestic properties
