We've partnered with a leading company specialising in recycling equipment and we’re seeking an experienced individual who can bring expertise in metal fabrication and welding. As a MIG Welder/Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Our client is a respected, family-run business with over four decades of experience in the Installation, Service & Repair of recycling equipment (Baler Machines). They take pride in their dedication to excellence and offer a supportive work environment where employees can thrive and grow.

You’ll be based at HQ in **Telford** however, you will need provide support to the Field Service Engineers so the **occasional travel / stay away will be required.**

This is a **Full-Time, Permanent** role and would suit someone with a desire to eventually progress into a Field Service Engineer

**What you’ll be doing**
- Utilise MIG welding techniques to weld metal components according to blueprints and specifications
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components using various tools and equipment
- Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety procedures and protocols
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used

**Hours**

Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm (Flexible to work weekends if required)

**Pay**

£35,000 + overtime premiums for weekends

**Skills/Experience Required**
- Proven experience as a MIG Welder/Fabricator
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible to work some weekends if needed
- Flexible to stay away from home when required
- Must have a valid UK driving licence
