Supplier Quality Engineer (Chard, Somerset)

£35,000 - £37,000 + Bonus scheme, Healthcare scheme, 33 days holiday

Do you want to make a big difference to the world? Our client is a world leading manufacturing company that is dedicated to producing bespoke products that are supplied into a range of industries, their product quality is recognised as second to none. Due togrowth and expansion into various export markets they are looking for a Quality Engineer to join their close-knit team.
What type of person are we looking for? First and foremost, we are looking for somebody who has experience in playing an active and integral role in supporting customers during inspections and audits, developing and maintaining quality documentation to developthe QMS.
We are looking for someone with a Manufacturing / Production / Engineering background but also somebody who will also have the ability to work well under pressure; communicate effectively and a positive and responsive attitude.

- Lead projects linked to Quality improvement, customer complaints
- Provide quality reports and review trend analysis on assigned areas of responsibility
- Supporting NPI activities
- Support standardisation and training via documentation
- Supporting shop floor manufacturing activities, supporting supplier and sub-contractor activities
- Technical apprenticeship or HND with Manufacturing Experience
- IOSH Trained
