Kinaxia Logistics are recruiting an MHE Instructor to join their team. The MHE Instructor will be responsilbe for delivering all MHE training as required to ITTSAR/RTITB standard.

**About the job**:

- Provide a consistently high level of technical skills training through a variety of delivery methods to support the operations area.
- Work with the Site Managers to ensure that all training is completed and recorded in line with company policy.
- Develop a site skills matrix that shows the skill level of all MHE operators and ensure that refresher training is completed within specified time frames.
- Actively manage the number of MHE operators to minimise skill fade and risk from inexperienced and infrequent users.
- Manage the on-going competence of all MHE operators through the delivery of refresher training, recorded work place assessments and where appropriate other training following the identification of unsafe practices or following accidents / incidents to ensure all employees meet health and safety requirements.
- Assist and advise in the investigation of MHE related accidents to ensure due process is followed and appropriate actions are taken.
- Provide a proactive approach in developing learning via experience briefings to ensure continual reduction in risk from MHE operations and to prevent further occurrence.
- Assist in the creation of Safe System of Works and suitable and sufficient risk assessments of MHE activities to ensure hazards are correctly identified and control measures introduced to eliminate or reduce the risk as so far as is reasonably practicable and ensuring these are trained out to all relevant staff.
- Review the GAP analysis of the safety audits with Site Managers to ensure all areas are completed.
- Participate as an active member of the management team, and offer suggestions for solving problems to continually improve site safety.

**Your knowledge and experience**
- RTITB / ITSSAR certified
- VNA / FLT / PPT / Bendi / Scissor
- Warehouse Health & Safety procedures
- Stock management software
- Warehouse health and safety
- Managing, developing and training a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00 per year
