**Adept** are proud to be working with a large Manufacturer based in the heart of **Sheffield** who are looking to recruit a **Deep Hole Borer** to join their team.

**Day & Night Shifts**

Shift pattern: Monday to Thursday 6am - 2.30pm & Fridays 6am - 2pm

Shift pattern: Monday to Thursday 6pm - 4am

**SALARY** - £31,000 - £32,500

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate deep hole drilling machines.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine hole specifications.
- Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure accurate hole dimensions and quality.
- Conduct quality inspections of finished holes using measuring instruments.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of drilling equipment.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Deep Hole Borer or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of deep hole drilling equipment and tooling.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
