**Job Description**:
At NEC we are undergoing significant growth and as a result we have this fantastic opportunity for someone to join our first-rate management team. The role is for anyone seeking the first step on to the managerial career path. The team is mature in its delivery and has excellent growth opportunities. Reporting directly to the team manager you will work closely on the day to day challenges and also be part of the many projects currently under implementation and in flight.
As the Team Lead you will ensure timely, technical support provision to our end user estate circa 4000 colleagues. You must have a passion for customer service excellence and you support the service delivery to agreed targets, seeking to continually improve all aspects of our delivery. You will work closely with the Team Manager on all aspects of service delivery including the day to day people management of all UK based colleagues.

**Team Lead Responsibilities**:
- Supporting the Team Manager with the overall management of the entire team.
- People management of all UK based colleagues
- Responsible for making sure team rotas are kept up to date
- Monitors and manages call volumes within End User Operations
- Ensure that relevant information is effectively communicated to the entire team
- Must be able to get involved with the day to day activities within the team
- Act as the first point of escalation within the team
- Proactively works to ensure effective working relationships within the team and anyone who interacts with the team
**Qualifications**:
**Technical Abilities**:
- Support a cross platform environment, including Windows 10 & 11, IOS
- Induct all new staff members on IT procedures, policies and best practice
- Procure, configure, manage, maintain and develop desktop PC's, laptops, tablets, mobile technology and printers
- Work with the wider CST teams to schedule upgrades and security of hardware and software systems
- Facilitate secure access to the network for remote users
- Providing users with appropriate support and advice
**Desirable Experience**:
- Previous Experience Team Leader
- Effective management of colleagues and teams
- Experience of Ivanti Service Management (ITSM)
- Down to earth approach to work
- Remains calm and level headed under pressure
- Experience of working in a customer facing environment
- Explaining technical issues to non technical customers
- Demonstrable understanding and familiarity with concepts surrounding quality of service, service level management and service delivery
- Experience of Cyber Essentials +
- Previous experience with M365 & MS InTune
