**Full-Time / ASAP**

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit and appoint a Deputy Head of Year for a Secondary school in the S12 area. This role would begin as soon as possible and would be on a long-term, full-time basis.

**Support for students given**:

- Support with relationships and personal development
- Achievement monitoring and developing
- Behaviour strategies
- Student Welfare action
- Attendance monitoring
- Good communication levels and strategies

**Support for school/team given:
- Attend Inclusion Team meetings
- Support the Staff in the effective running of assemblies
- Promote sharing of good practice and development of lead personnel in key areas
- Establish constructive relationships with other agencies and professionals
- Carryout morning duties supporting uniform, punctuality and behaviour around school
- Contribute to Every Child Matters strategies and initiatives

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
